2. Do I need to book onto a session?

Yes. With limited spaces per session it is important that you book your child’s space in advance.

To book, please email me at brighttimes@outlook.com telling me your child's first name, age and which session you are interested in booking for them, and I will reply to you, confirming your booking. Alternatively you can comment under a Bright Times post on Facebook giving the information as requested above and I will reply confirming your booking.

3. How old does my child need to be?

There is no lower age limit, but it is recommended that your child will get the most out of the session from 1 year old. However, babies under 1 year are also welcome to come and there are always activities for younger ones to enjoy. The upper age limit is 5 years, but this is only due to it being a term time business for children up to school age. During the Holiday sessions children up to the age of 6 are welcome, as long as you feel they will benefit from this session. Children aged 5-6 years will be charged at the same rate as children aged 18 months - 5 years.

4. Do I need to bring anything to the session?

Everything needed to join in with the activities is supplied for the children, this includes aprons. However, if parents/carers would prefer to put their children in old clothes for the craft activities that may be advisable.

5. When will the sessions run?

Our sessions will be held weekly through the school terms. However, there are holidays sessions that can be pre-booked throughout the school year.

6. What will a session consist of?

Each session will consist of up to 15 activities based around a different story each week. These activities will include a variety of art and craft activities, role play areas, messy play and lots more for your child to enjoy. The children will do these activities for the first 45 minutes.

We will then break for a drink and a biscuit, whilst I read the story of that weeks theme to the children. Parents/carers will also have the opportunity at this point to relax with a hot drink and a biscuit whilst their children enjoy the story.

There will be another half hour of playtime after the break and before the end of the session.

All drinks and biscuits are included in the price of the session.

7. What times are the sessions?

A morning session will run 10am - 11.30am

An afternoon session will run 1pm - 2.30pm

8. How much will a session cost?

Please see the price page to work out costings for your child/children's visit.

9. Where are the sessions held?

The "Contact Us" page has details of our address.

We are based in a lovely, light and spacious Village Hall in Addington, Kent.

It has a large parking area and is in a quiet location, right next to a lovely field for picnics, or a run around before or after your session.

10. Will my child be my responsibility?

Yes. The children need to be the responsibility of their parent/carer whilst they enjoy the activities.
